Class Act Homeschool Performing Arts will be offering the following Choir Classes for fall 2025 and Spring 2026 on Fridays at The Music Studio.


Da Capo

(ages 6-8)

Non-auditioned choir

  • TIME: 9:30–10:30 AM (FRIDAYS)

  • Genres of music will include: spirituals, art songs, gospel, & many more fun vocal styles!


Cambiata

(ages 9-12)

Non-auditioned choir

  • TIME: 10:30–11:45 AM (FRIDAYS)

  • This ensemble will perform 2 part choral music

  • Learn to sing in different languages

  • Genres of music will include: spirituals, art songs, gospel, & many more fun vocal styles!


Coro

(ages 13-18)

Non-auditioned high school choir

  • TIME: 11:45 AM–1:15 PM (FRIDAYS)

  • This large ensemble will perform 4-8 part choral music.

  • Learn to sing in many different languages

  • Genres of music will include: gospel, art song, multicultural, spirituals

Discounted semester rate to be paid on first day of classes

Da Capo: 9:30–10:30am on Fridays

Coro: 11:45am–1:15pm on Fridays

  • When registering online for Class Act, you will be redirected to The Music Studio’s Fons scheduling page. That will require you to create a Fons account and will allow you to register and pay online. If you would instead like to pay in person or pay cash, please call 417-343-9811 to register.

4 payments option**

If you are choosing to do the 4 payments option, payments are due by the following dates:

  • Fall 2025: Sept 5, Oct 3, Oct. 31, Nov. 21

  • Spring 2026: Jan 9, Feb 6, March 6, April 10

  • Family monthly discount: reduction of $5/each additional child

additional fees

  • Semester concert venue fee: $5 per student

  • Blue bow ties, ties & scarves are $10 (may be purchased through Class Act HPA)

  • Class Act will not be responsible for any refunds once payment is submitted.

  • No pro-rated fees for missed classes. Snow days are built into the year.

Concert Attire

Boys:

  • Black collared long-sleeve dress shirt  

  • Black dress pants 

  • Black socks 

  • Black dress shoes 

DaCapo & Cantare Boys:

  • Blue bow tie*

Coro Boys:

  • Blue tie*

Girls:

  • Black skirt (knee length/longer) OR black dress pants with black blouse (must have cap sleeves/longer) OR black dress (must have cap sleeves/longer, knee length/longer)

  • Black dress shoes 

  • Blue scarf (worn around the waist)*

*Bow ties, ties & scarves are $10 (may be purchased through Class Act HPA)


required supplies

All students need: a 1/2” black three-ring binder & pencil

  • Music will be checked out at the beginning of each semester

  • Please hand in at end of semester with all pencil marks erased

  • Any damaged music will be charged to student for replacement
